The purpose of this blog

I'm Tamara.

I'm creative, sometimes.

 

I like to dabble in various things, but most of my efforts have been of the 2D and 3D visual variety so far. (Primarily photography in the metaverse of Second Life and a bit of 3D modeling and sculpting in Blender)

The thing is... I have learning handicaps and I'm forgetful due to chronic illness. This makes picking up new skills rather difficult and I tend to forget what I've learned or figured out soon after taking a bit of a break from the creative activity.

 

Because of this I want to (try my best to) maintain this blog with posts about the resources that have helped me learn a craft and about my own methods of doing certain things.

 Not only would this help me keep track of helpful resources as to remind myself of the things that I had learned before, but I also figure that keeping this sort of creative learning journal could help other people get into the same creative hobbies and maybe they'll have a great old time and make something fun with them! 

 

So the plan is that I will be posting lists of resources as well as sharing tutorials that I've learned from, and perhaps some tutorials of my own.

I can't make promises on the frequency of my posts because of the same health issues that are causing me to want to write things down, but I do want to finally get started on this because it's for my own good as well.

I hope that the following posts will be of use to somebody other than myself and that there will be fun had in learning forms of artistic expression.
